 We understand that at times you will need to cancel your appointment. At aGlo Salon & Skin Clinic we have a strict 48 hr cancellation policy in place for all bookings. If you need to reschedule or cancel, simply call the salon on 54525720 to change your dates or times with the 48 hour time frame in mind. We are a small family run business and your time slot is held specifically for you, so we need to operate this cancellation policy in order to accomodate another booking in your place. If you do not give us adequate notice, there will be a 50% charge payable to cover wage costs and loss of earnings, however we do understand that sometimes that the unexpected emergency does happen, or sudden sickness, and in these cases we will adjust accordingly.  Yes! If you live close to the Sunshine Coast come see us at aGlo Finishing Salon, where we have a dedicated Dermal Therapist and onsite Doctor for all your skin needs. A great way to start is to book our Custom Facial Therapy. This is a customisable facial that will be taylored to suit your needs. We will have a thorough consultation before we start, and then we can put you on a skin plan to get you amazing results. 

 Gel is a conditioning nail treatment. Its main point of difference is the ingredients. It dries/cures in a LED lamp, not UV. It has a thicker consistency than shellac, therefore it is a lot stronger. The top coats comes in different strengths so it  can be adapted to suit different nail conditions and clients needs. Gel will not damage your natural nails, and when you decide to stop having it applied , your nails will be in good condition underneath. It lasts 2-4 weeks depending on nail growth and how you look after them.Shellac is called a power polish or gel polish. It looks like nail polish, goes on like nail polish but it sets/cures in a UV /LED lamp like a gel, and it can last for up to 2 weeks. It has a thin look and feel just like nail polish but it can still chip or peel. It is however not a conditioning treatment, and is not recommended for use on weakened or damaged nails. It is perfect for those who like manicured nails for a special event/weekend, or for an occasional treat 

 Medical grade skincare differs from products found in mainstream stores as these non-medical formulas usually have restrictions on the ingredients and pH levels, which medical-grade skincare does not have. As medical grade skincare is formulated and prescribed by doctors or clinical physicians, you’re able to use a higher concentration of active ingredients which will produce more noticeable results. Although in-active ingredients are not completely ineffective, they are mainly used for cleansing and moisturising the skin, not to  treat specific skin conditions. 

  Active ingredients are scientifically or clinically proven for their efficiency and results. Usually they have been through a thorough investigation of the long term outcomes and changes on a physiological level and have to maintain this evidence.  Whilst you're pregnant, your skin can go through some changes. We can taylor-make a skincare routine for you that will help support your skin through the pregnancy and breast feeding. Whilst not all products are suitable, we can advise you which products you can and can't use. Please just contact us for some advice on what to choose. 

 Yes! We cater for groups and love to meet the blushing brides, just send us through your preferred dates,number of guests,and treatment preferences and we will work out a special package just for you! We can even organise bubbles and nibbles! 

  When you look on the back of a bottle and it says it contains an active ingredient, that means the chemical or molecule in that product is doing what the product says it’s supposed to do. These active ingredients are added to treat specific skin concerns and are clinically tested to guarantee effectiveness

 Vitamin A can be formulated in different ways. We use a type of Vitamin A called Retinaldehyde. It has be proven to not induce UV sensitivity, redness, flakiness, or thin the epidermis, allowing you to use it daily without any side effects.  It has also been proven to stimulate 30% more collagen synthesis as well as other anti-aging benefits. We are also proud to offer a formulation that is targeted to more aceneic skin types. In order to maximise the antioxidant effect, Vitamin B3 and Vitamin C have been added to our formulations.
